And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him

Hebrews 11:6

Enoch was a man of the impossible; he pleased God, walked with God and even went to heaven without dying. That said, we know our God is a God of the impossible (Matt 19:26), so how did Enoch manage it? Simply put: faith. Faith brought him to belief, kept him as he walked and served his maker and took him home. And where did he get this amazing faith? From the very God he loved and worshipped (Ephesians 2:8). Doesn’t this wonderfully demonstrate the deep desire of God to be in relationship with us? He calls us to repentance and renewed life through Jesus and freely dishes out, not only those blessings, but even the way to obtain them. What a generous God.
