What brings thankfulness to your lips today? I’m thankful for the freedom we have in the UK to meet on Sundays without fear or restriction. I’m thankful for worship music too and that through it, God trades my sorrows for his joy. Did you know that thankfulness is a choice that’s not just based on our circumstances? You won’t find thankfulness within the gifts or fruits of the Holy Spirit, and yet it opens them up to us when we choose it. Thankfulness moves the focus from my mountain to God’s mountain; from earthly concerns to heavenly promises. If you are struggling in prayer, and especially where to start, choose thankfulness with determination.
